For this card I watercolored the background in 3 colors. While that was drying I stamped the typewriter image and sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Just My Type set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. Then I randomly arranged Lawn Fawn's Harold's ABCs letters on a stamp block in two rows and stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I rearranged the letters and repeated the process for all of the rest of the rows for the background. I used Lil Inker Designs Stitched Mats: Rectangles to cut out the image and sentiment and propped it up on the background with Scotch foam tape.
I am entering this card into the Simon Say Stamps Monday Anything Goes Challenge.
Wow! You used so many clever techniques on this card! I couldn't believe it when I read that you'd created the background with watercolors and embossing! It looks so pro that I thought the background paper came that way! Wonderful eye for detail and I really like the soft tones in the background and how they pair with the happy typewriter image and sentiment. I also have to give you a huge kudos for your coloring skills on the typewriter. You're definitely skilled at many different techniques and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the end result. Thank you for sharing this with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
